A new giveaway for Summer Solstice at Lindaoma's (day three)

I thought I would share some examples of fluorite with you. The pendant on the necklace I have in this giveaway does not have the depth of color of these examples but it does have the layers and the rainbow. In my research I found out that fluorite is very rarely a gemstone choice because it is soft on the Mahs scale of hardness. So if you were to see a cut fluorite it would be very rare. That just tells me that you can't tame a faery stone anymore than you can tame a faery.

We have fluorite points on our wands that we use on Summer Solstice. I will post those pictures on June 20th along with our thimble cakes and milk and honey for the fae. So many of you have asked to see the set up for our celebration and the faery garden and we would be pleased to show you. Thanks for asking.

Don't forget to comment for another chance at both necklaces. The drawing will be on June 12th.

Good luck to all of my lovelies.

  3. The flourite is beautiful, Linda. It's amazing how the colors combine like they do naturally. Gemstones are one of nature's many gifts to us and it's impossible not to love them!! (:
I admire that you find the time to do all the things you are involved in and make art and jewelry, too!
