And the winner is..................

First I have to thank my producers, my director and my actors but not necessarily in that order.

The grands (actors) once again have done even better than I expected. They love this stuff and not that I am prejudiced but I think these hambones have it in them to do it again..........hmmmmmmm maybe around Valentoonie Day.

I directed this extravaganza and I have to thank my ego for getting the hell out of the way when the kids wanted to change things. They really did know best.

And my producers are Sweet Man and Shelley belly boo (daughter). Without them picking up the slack of my household duties, such as they are, I never would have been able to do what I did and the kids would never have been allowed to skip some much needed other activities.

And most especially, I'd like to thank the members of the academy bloggies who came to visit and didn't go running into the night, that I know of, because of the length of this adventure.

So without further blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada...the winner of the Witch's Hat is

Congratulations on winning the hat

  1. I tried to feed your turtle, but the worm wouldn't drop!

and of course your kids would help - it was a hoot and they got a feast in the end. If I lived near, I'd help too!

  3. This was just too much fun Oma! I so enjoyed it and if it wasn't so much work I would beg for a recreation every holiday. Such a hoot and we thank you for sharing.

  4. I guess I need to write an explanation about having the drawing so quickly....because it's a Witch's Hat...you know, worn for Halloween...oh I don't know I thought that I should get it to folks soon. If I have offended those of you who came to me late, well the story and being part of the party was and is the main deal....not the giveaways. But then again I've been wrong before....I'm just saying.
As Sweet Man would say...some people's children.

  6. Um - hi Susan - so glad your give away goes until Friday, but since our beloved Linda has so many readers, many of which [witch? hee] are international, she wanted to assure that the winner received their beautiful prize before the holiday that it is to be worn. At least I thought that was the reason why as Halloween is only two weeks away. It is a witch's hat after all - it wouldn't make sense to wait another week to award it.

I think you might have missed the spirit of the "Party" and maybe I missed the part that the participants were SUPPOSED to give something away? I thought the prizes were a bonus? I was just getting a kick out of reading the stories - I didn't need an incentive to do so.

As gorgeous as Linda's hat prize is Susan, I can assure you it wasn't the reason I wrote a comment on each day [3 chances to win!] or why I blogged about it on my blog.

I did so because I wanted to compliment the story teller, the actors and the fun I and my family experienced reading this story.

I wish you the best of luck on your give away. I'll be over to read your story too.

And my belovely GK - sending you and Ry kisses darlings. You rock girlie :)

Vert word is "disin" - kid you not.

  12. As usual, I am the proverbial day late and $2.95 short. I have packaged all the giveaways but....they will go and visit the PO tomorrow. Sorry guys, I got a little carried away with putting extra stuff in the boxes for the surprise giveaway and also for Witchs Stiches and so....time worked against me. Love and garlic, The Olde Bagg
