We had a donkey delicious day...........

About a week ago, I shared with you that we had some good things coming our way.....the Mad Tea party which is this coming Saturday, my giveaway announcement tomorrow morning, and a trip to see my favorite animal in the entire world, besides my grandchildren.....tee hee, donkeys.

Well today we went to Morning Bray Farm and met Don and Justina (not only are they nice, they are fun too). They introduced us to Da Boyz (long ears) and surprised the kids with a ride on Big Red (Ellsworth).

I got to scratch ears, necks, backs and came home more in love with donkeys than ever. If you are interested, check out Ye Olde Crone's for more info.

  2. There's an old Canadian folk song called "Donkey Riding" that my sister and I used to sing all the time when we were kids. It's got a rousing chorus of "Hey ho, away we go, donkey riding! donkey riding! Hey ho, away we go, riding on a donkey!"

  4. Ry looks so relaxed and comfortable up there, he appears to be a natural rider. What a great experience for the grands and how nice of MB Farms to invite you out!

  6. It sure looks like a good time was had by all. The grands look like their faces are glowing with pleasure. I'm sure this is a memory they will bring out and savor over and over.
