This is what I want to be when I grow up....

I know ya'll probably cringe when I post yet another blog about Ry but well too bad, so sad....he is one of three lights in my life and I'm sort of a one note Oma. I love my grands and my daughter.

This is Ry's poster for "get to know me". Poor little critter doesn't stand a chance with the wonderful donkey influences he has had in his young life. We love us some donkey here at Casa de Cuckoo.

First is this is my family (notice the two chubs on the right, guess who????)
Second is what he wants to be when he grows up...a farmer like Don and Justina of Morning Bray Farm.
Third is things he doesn't like: babies and lettuce
And lastly things he really likes: donkeys, dogs, building and fruit.
So there ya go.....now you know all you wanted or didn't want to know straight from the donkey's mouth....tee hee.

  1. Love how Shelley is the largest (most important) part of his life but you and SM are close behind. And that the two of you are just a tad roly-poly. What a sweetie he is.

  5. This is friggin adorable! When Littleman draws our family he ALWAYS makes me look like a mental patient with crazy curly hair that literally looks like I have my finger in a light socket.

  7. Love it!!! Hey, I don't like crying babies either!! Also, I had to laugh at the little family portrait. It reminds me of Egyptian and other ancient paintings and illustrations. You can see who rules the roost in his mind...da daughter is taller than the rest, showing an hierarchy order!! Hmmm, knowing my wonderful Linda, I don't think that's quite the pecking order, though!! LOL

Love to all and the goats have been a little neglected these days!

    Loves ya,
    G

  10. What??? Cringe at a post on Ry??? I would have to hurt someone...

I ADORE these pictures...what a little budding artist. He is so sweet and loves all of you with a heart as large as all of NM. I can see him growing up to be a donkey farmer. Maybe he'll even let you help out on his farm. ;-)

Post all you want to on those fabulous grands and your beautiful daughter. I will cheer you on! Hugs to all!

  11. What a lucky little boy to have an Oma who loves him so much and shares her light and love with him and in return gives right back. This inspires me to make some art of what I want to be "when I grow up..." :) I love seeing children's art work, most of the time more inspiring and true than adults art.
