81 on Saturday and snow this morning...

yep it's spring time. I'm sure you all have stories about looking for Easter Eggs in the snow. Spring loves to mess with our heads.....literally for those of us with allergies....figuratively for those who plant too early and have to redo. Or for turtles who heard the humans tapping on the ground with rakes. Poor babies, they just stomp around in the snow anyway.

So here's what we awoke to this morning and now................it's gone.

nice wet sloppy snow

And by week's end we are to be back in the 70's. Happy Tuesday my lovelies. Oma Linda

  1. Poor little snow turtles, you should make them boots and scarves.

  2. And yet there are those who fail to recognize the drastic changes in our weather patterns...makes one think. I am praying we do not have more rain tomorrow because I have an egg hunt planned for the little ones. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

  5. Right about now I'd love to see some sunshine but even snow would be a welcome sight. What we're having is relentless rain and dark dreary gray skies, day after day the same thing. Those poor little turtles must be very confused. I sure hope your weather is back in the 70s by the weekend. Wouldn't want those Easter eggs to get lost in the snow. Enjoy your day.

  6. what crazy weather. fortunately, we don't get snow but we've been swinging back and forth from cold to hot. although it has been weeks, maybe a month, since we've used the heater.

  12. It's normal spring here in the Connecticut Valley...at least for the time being ;) Our Lovely Friend in NYC is wishing bright sunshine for you...it's her birthday wish to see the sun shine & the stars sing for you once again. I add that my hope is that star-song eases the bumps in life to where you can skip right over them.

  13. My precious Oma Linda, I have come to wish you all the beauty and warmth, strength and wholeness that life can offer a sage such as yourself. I have come to thank you for being the much needed friend that shined light unto my darkness, and per Magaly's request on her birthday, to wish that everything light and pure will enter the world of you and yours today and always. I love you dearly, Mina

  17. Hang in there, you and your four footed friends. Your snow was very pretty and probably knocked the pollens out for a day. 70's will seem hot to me!
