My life, my words, my blog..............

that pretty much says it to those that want to pass judgement on life at Casa de Cuckoo with the faintest idea of the TRUTH.

You nay sayers notice your comments are not posted, nor will they ever be. Hmmmmmm.

Here is our ofrenda for Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos.

  1. I don't understand the above statement: You notice your comments are not posted, nor will they ever be. Hmmmmmm...

    Am I missing something?

  2. Oh that is so pretty! I sometimes struggle with feeling like I should apologize or feel guilty for things I say in my blog. I have to remind myself that it is mine and I can say/do whatever I want there.

  3. To Stephen and all the rest of you scratching your head and wondering....huh? Don't fret, it was just one of those ugly bumps in the road perpetrated by "the dark hearts". I will never not say the Cuckoos truth about our lives. I will never understand judgement passed by folks who do not have the whole story. Ask if you want to know, don't lecture me about things you have no idea the extent of the damage. And so there ya go

    1. I suspected you were talking about undesirables... I think that not allowing other people's venom into your life (blog or home) is a good policy.

I think the confusion bloomed around the fact that the words above seem to include everyone. Not just the people whose comments you will send to spam limbo.

  5. I wasn't confused. I knew who you were talking about. I delete trolls' comments too. And spammers, the bastards.

A lovely, cheery altar for the Day of the Dead. Does my heart good to see it.

  8. Thank goodness for that delete key. Why do people post negative comments? If they don't like the content of a post, let them hit delete and move on. I hope you didn't let them under your skin too far and just banished them.

  9. Just say "Poof... be gone!" (you have to say it aloud) and hit delete . If you just delete and don't acknowledge, they get bored and move onto more "reactive" pastures. Sorry that those creatures can't just mind their own bidness. :(

  10. Hi BB!! I see some of your old deadbeats are still making the rounds. I love what you said. As the Frenchman said in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, "I blow my nose in your general direction". So keep on keeping on, Oma LInda!!

  12. I feel the same way - My life, My Words, My Blog - If you don't like it or my thoughts or expressions, then don't read it. Like, I am twisting no one's arm. I never feel the need to apologize for the words I write or my views. After all they are mine and I have the freedom to do so. Go Oma Go - not sure what happened, YOU GO SISTA OMA lol
